How to Find Corvus the Crow Constellation
Corvus The Crow constellation is easy to find in the night sky. From March to June, Corvus sits right next to Virgo, Crater, and Hydra. This trapezoid-shaped star pattern can be seen from both hemispheres.

    Where in the night sky? north, south, east, west? This would be useful. It is difficult to see any stars here in summer not because of light pollution but because of midnight twilight(even at 55 degrees north). Only the very brightness stars are visible. It never truly gets completely dark.

    Interesting - I was under the impression K type stars lived double the life span of our sun. I find it interesting that its already in the end stages of its life even though its only 2 billion years older than our sun. Interesting watching these videos and brushing up on my astronomy. I haven't had the chance to do any since I was a teenager.

    On my corner, where I like to hang out sometimes I can see 1 star from the sky, I do wonder if it's a drone or à star, who knows?! That's the life in my dwarf metropol.     Having seen the eclipse a few years back in South Carolina, I did not want to miss this one. I met up with family in Ohio. We drove west for a clear sky and it was worth it. It's such a beautiful phenomenon!

      They are both classified as stars, but they are in different stages of their life cycle. The Sun is the common name for our star. So they are similar that they are both stars, but different in color, size and temperature and stage in life.

      @@Mayra.Xochitl Aldebaran is considered its common name. Astronomers would refer to it as Alpha Tauri because it is the brightest star in the constellation Taurus. There are multiple catalogs and naming systems for stars. Aldebaran and Alpha Tauri are the most common ones for this star.

      Honestly, all three pronunciations that you listed I've heard before. I tend to use the first one you listed because that is the way it was taught to me. Ultimately the International Astronomical Union accepts many pronunciations. Sometimes I feel that pronunciations depend on where you grew up and what your accent is. I hope this helps.
